Mill Yard

Mill Yard is a picturesque yard, whose cottages once housed the workers, and their families, of the neighbouring mill. Located in the town centre off of Baker street.

Named after the watermill or windmill, which stood near the site, these properties were owned in Georgian times by the Widdowson family. Apart from one cottage the rest were converted from the old malting.
